# Unified Relative Abundance/Combined Kingdom Analysis

### Unified relative abundance (Unified RA)

This is the percent composition of an organism of a particular kingdom relative to the total number of microbial organisms detected in the sample set. Results for CosmosID’s bacteria, virus, fungi, and protist databases are presented separately. The unified relative abundance allows you to view the abundance estimates normalized for all kingdoms so you can see them together, presenting a complete picture of the metagenome of your sample.
