Welcome

This documentation presents a comprehensive overview for researchers utilizing the CosmosID-HUB for microbiome bioinformatics. Please use the sidebar menu to navigate through the various guides and videos to get started.

CosmosID-HUB is a cloud-based microbiome analysis platform that simplifies next-gen sequencing data analysis using various bioinformatics pipelines. Supporting data from 16S, ITS, shotgun metagenomics, and metatranscriptomics, the platform leverages cloud infrastructure to deliver rapid taxonomic and functional profiling within hours rather than weeks. Users can effortlessly create virtual cohorts via a customizable interface, enabling comprehensive comparative analyses with dynamic heatmaps, plots, statistics, and differential abundance analyses. These results can be exported in multiple formats, making CosmosID-HUB a powerful, efficient tool for detailed microbiome research and communication.

The CosmosID-HUB uses raw, unassembled reads from metagenomic sequencing (FASTQ files) as input and matches the sequence against curated reference databases for taxonomic and functional profiling. If you would prefer to watch a video that takes you through the entire process, just click here.
